Welcome!
This is my 14th year in education, and my third year at Frenship High School.
I grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Texas Tech in 2007. Teaching is my true passion, and I hope to make a difference in the lives of those I come in contact with each day. I learn so much from my students, and they keep me humble, grounded, and young.
Some of my interests outside of school include gardening, reading, and creating art. I currently have a 100 square foot vegetable garden, and converted it last Spring to a self-watering wicking bed! I love non-fiction, especially true crime, but I keep an open mind to most genres. I come from a family of artistically talented people, and I utilize art as both relaxation and therapy. My favorite media is watercolor. I also love to work logic puzzles for fun to keep my mind sharp.
I believe our future is in the hands of those we teach, and I think it is so important for young people to develop skills to make the world a better place.
I am very excited to have you in my class this year. Below you will find my syllabi for Statistics and Pre-College Algebra.
