I think I've lived in most towns in West Texas growing up, but I graduated HS in Lubbock and though I spent 30 years away, I finally made it back in 2019 and call it home once again.

I have earned three degrees at Texas Tech: a BA with a double major in English & Latin, an MA in Classical Humanities, and an MA in Applied Linguistics.

I have over 30 years of teaching experience:  13 in three different universities and the rest in secondary education.

I am married and my daughter is attending middle school at Frenship.

Most of my teaching career has been in Texas, but I was also a teacher in Arizona for four years and I lived in Istanbul, Turkey for nine years where I taught in two English-medium, international universities.

I am excited to be back home and teaching at Frenship! I look forward to continuing growing the Tiger classics program!
