Welcome to my webpage. My name is Eric Awbrey, and this is my 15th year as an educator. I graduated from Texas Tech with a B.S. in Human Development, then earned a Master’s in Education in Special Education and a Master’s in Education in Elementary Education from Lubbock Christian University. 

After graduation, my wife and I moved to Portland, TX (near Corpus Christi) where I worked for five years as a Middle School Science & Life Skills teacher. After our first child was born, we moved back to the Lubbock area so we could raise our kids near their grandparents. We now have three kids, grades 2, 4, and 6. 

Every kid needs the opportunity to grow in an environment where they feel safe, are challenged intellectually, and can achieve their very best. Everyday, I look forward to encouraging and mentoring students.
