What is Esports?
 
Esports is more than just playing video games. It's about building character, strengthening life skills, and providing opportunities for our students. 
 
Also known as electronic sports, it is a highly competitive and organized gameplay between teams of students. Rapidly growing in popularity, Esports has its own strict set of rules and guidelines.
 
Through the Frenship Esports program, just like traditional sports, students learn teamwork, communication skills, strategic thinking and leadership. Participating in Esports also provides Frenship students with opportunities for collegiate scholarships.
Frenship ISD joined the Official High School Esports League:

Approximately 40 Frenship High School students make up the Esports team and compete in 'Rocket League',  'League of Legends', 'Super Smash Bros. Ultimate', and 'Overwatch 2'.
 
Students compete against other schools every Tuesday and Thursday.
