Hello!

My name is Ruth Cruz, and I joined Frenship in 2025. I earned my bachelor’s degree in history and Anthropology from Texas Tech University in 2014, and in 2017, I completed my master’s in museum science from the same university.

I am married and have a wonderful 3-year-old daughter named Laurel. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and cooking. One of my lifelong dreams is to visit all of the U.S. National Parks as well as Machu Picchu in Peru. As a lifelong learner, I’m passionate about inspiring students to stay curious and to pursue knowledge and skills throughout their lives.
