I am so excited to begin teaching back at Frenship High School! I am looking forward to creating a classroom where students feel comfortable being themselves, sharing their ideas, and growing as readers, writers, and communicators. I truly believe that English is about so much more than reading and writing - it is about learning how to communicate, think critically, understand different perspectives, and find your own voice.
I am also excited to be involved outside of the classroom as the freshman cheer coach!! I love being able to work with students in different ways and help them build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. I have always enjoyed being involved in sports and activities!
A little bit about me: I am a proud Frenship graduate! After high school, I attended Texas Tech University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in Psychology. After graduating from Tech, I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could work with students and make a difference, which led me to teaching! I am so excited to be back at the school where I grew up and to now have the opportunity to be a teacher and a coach in the Frenship community. Go Tigers!
