Welcome to Culinary Arts! My name is Emily Funk, and I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science specializing in Food Production, Nutrition, and Hospitality Administration. This is my seventh year in education, and I love working with students and preparing them for a career in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
Since joining the team at Frenship, I have had students compete and place in regional and state level contests at Skills USA as well as regional and state level contests in FCCLA. We were also voted, "Crowd Favorite" at the first annual Lubbock Restaurant Association Culinary Showcase.
