I began my career in education in 1996. I have taught at the middle school and high school level and coached 7th, 8th & 9th graders in competitive athletics. I have taught Algebra I, Pre-AP Algebra II, Pre-AP Pre-Calculus, Geometry, and served as Math Department Chair of FHS. I received a BA in Mathematics from Texas Tech University and a Masters in Educational Administration from Lubbock Christian University. I have been on staff at FHS since 2008, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here with the students and staff. Frenship is a district that seeks excellence in all that it does, and I am proud to be a part of the high school administrative team.
I have been married to my college sweetheart, Gina, since 1996 and we have three energetic kids who all proudly call themselves Frenship Tigers. I enjoy coaching my kids' basketball and football teams, but I admit, I am more of a spectator when it comes to my youngest's baseball games. I enjoy a good game day—in the stands, on the field, or in front of the T.V. I have also been known to enjoy a superhero movie from time to time.
