Biography

Hello parents and students! I am one of the Culinary Arts teachers here at Frenship High School. I grew up in Austin, TX but moved to Lubbock to attend school at Texas Tech where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. I also received a masters degree at LCU in Human Services specializing in Family Life Educator. This year I will be teaching six sections of Culinary Arts and I am so excited to meet my new classes! This will be my third year at Frenship, eighth year teaching. I feel very fortunate to be here at Frenship!

I love teaching Culinary Arts because as we all know, food is a part of everyone's daily lives. So it is such a great skill for a high school student to learn! I look forward to a great year and am excited to get started!

FCCLA

Our FCCLA chapter is off to a great start this year! I encourage anyone interested to come to our first meeting to hear what it's all about. It is a great way for students to get involved in an organization that pushes them to get outside of their comfort zone and work on skills to become a great leader.
