Veterinary Medical Applications covers topics relating to veterinary practices, including practices for large and small animal species. Students will learn medical terminology, identify factors and nutritional practices that influence the health of animals, research and identify diseases in animals, perform calculations for veterinary medicine, examine various aspects of clinical hematology and identify the health of an animal during clinical examinations. This class also offers the Level 1 Certified Veterinary Assistant Certification.
