Frenship High School Offers eSports for the 19-20 School Year

Frenship High School is introducing a new program to students this year; eSports. eSports is a form of competition using video games that is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) accredited and recognized by ESPN sports network. 
 
Games like Overwatch, League of Legends, and Rocket League can be played against other students locally and around the state. The entire program offers many educational benefits such as:
  • Working with others
  • Social skills
  • Strategic thinking and planning
  • Managing success and failure 
  • Time management 
  • Travel Skills
  • College and career opportunities
