Frenship High School

Fire Reported at Frenship Ag Barn

Just after 3:00 p.m. on November 4th, the Wolfforth and Woodrow Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a report of smoke at the Frenship Ag Barn located at County Road 1300 and Woodrow Road.

A Frenship High School student noticed smoke in Barn C and called 911. Volunteer firefighters quickly arrived on scene and extinguished the fire isolated to Barn C.

No students or staff were injured; however, one pig is currently being treated for burns.

There were a total of 11 pigs housed in Barn C. They have now been moved into other pens at the Ag Barn.

The State Fire Marshal's Office will investigate the cause of the fire.
