Frenship Girls Basketball Pulls Out Win Against Strong Idalou Team

This was the third straight win for the Tigers and it is one that helped mold the girls for District 2-6A play which starts next week against San Angelo Central.

The duo down low, Frenship's Mikah Chapman and Abby Boyce, were the silver lining for the Tigers, scoring a combined 24 of the Tiger's 32 points.

"Both our post kids did a tremendous job,” Hilliard said. “Being able to attack their posts with our high-low and get looks, and then of course, the rebounding was just tremendous.”

Hillard said that games full of challenges are what help prepare his team for District and post-District action.

“We’re in that situation where the kids start getting the winning mindset of just ‘this is what we need to do to pull games out,’” Hilliard said. “They have to have confidence in themselves and that goes a long way.”

The Tigers hit the court again tonight against Plainview at the Tiger Pit.
