Frenship Foundation for Leadership Awarded $1,000 through City Bank Community Rewards Program

During a six-week period starting in November, community members had the opportunity to vote for their favorite local nonprofit through the City Bank Community Rewards Program. The top five winners in each of the six categories are awarded $4,000 to $500 based on number of votes.

In December, City Bank announced the 30 South Plains area nonprofits that would be getting a piece of the $60,000 rewards. Thanks to support and votes from Frenship staff, parents, and community members, the Frenship Foundation for Leadership placed fourth in the Education and Youth Services category and received $1,000.

“We are so thankful for the supportive community that surrounds our District and the Foundation. They are the reason we are receiving this money. We are also thankful for businesses like City Bank that invest and give back to local nonprofits,” said Tiffany Taylor, Frenship Foundation Executive Director. “This money will help the Foundation continue its mission of enhancing education across Frenship’s 14 campuses.”

The money awarded to the Frenship Foundation will help them further their initiatives of providing teacher grants and student scholarships each school year.
