Frenship Boys Soccer Rolls Over Canyon Randall in Dominating Match

Statistically, the Tigers had an incredible game, attempting 432 passes and completing 346. Frenship dominated the ball with 64% possession to Randall's 36%. The Tigers dominated defensively and ended the match 1 nil.

Frenship Boys Head Soccer Coach Scott Smith said he is thrilled with the way his team has been performing.

"It was a good match, and I am sure it was entertaining for our supporters and enjoyable for our players," Smith said. "I am just so happy with all of the boys. I can't think any higher of them."

Smith said his entire team is searching for success and has been rising to each challenge set before them.

"I want to brag on the full roster - their buy in, attitude, mentality," Smith said. "They are just so, so enjoyable to work with every day. They're hungry, and I love it."

The Tigers will take the field again this weekend at Lubbock's Germ Blast Kick-Off Classic Tournament. More tournament information is listed here.

"This tournament will give us practice bettering ourselves and that is what these boys need," Smith said. "Forget everyone else - we have to think 'can we be better and consistent in each game we play?' That is what we believe in."

With the District 2-6A schedule fast approaching, Smith said his team is taking things one game at a time.

"We all know without saying it what we are thinking about," Smith said, "but we will let our play do our talking for us."
