After winning regional competitions across the state, 16 ensembles were selected to compete for the chance to be crowned the first-ever UIL State Champion in Instrumental Chamber Music.
Frenship had two chamber groups make it to the state contest, with one securing the state title.

“Both groups represented Frenship incredibly well and we could not be more proud of these students,” said Jose Gonzalez, Assistant Band Director at Frenship High School. “These fine musicians all worked diligently to perform at the highest levels and their dedication is an inspiration to us.”
