The Frenship High School One Act Play team placed sixth at the State One Act Play Competition. This is the second consecutive year Frenship One Act competed and placed at the state level.
The group performed People, Places and Things by Duncan Macmillan. Where the protagonist, Emma, finds herself in rehab. Her first step is to admit that she has a problem. But the problem isn’t with Emma, it’s with everything else.
In addition to sixth overall performance, two One Act Play members received individual honors.
Lynnli Wiseman received All-Star Cast for her role of Emma and Braxton Turner received an Honorable Mention All-Star Cast for the role of Mark.
“I am beyond proud of this group of kids,” said Jacob Lierman, Theatre Arts District Coordinator. “They took a story that needed to be seen, needed to be heard and beautifully told it. Lindsey and I could not be prouder of this cast, not only for their work on the stage but for the unbelievable humans that they are. Having the honor of watching them change people's lives and hearts every time they took the stage, changed mine. I will forever be grateful for that.”
Congratulations Tigers!
