Frenship High School

Construction Completes Casa for CASA

The students in the Frenship High School Construction department put the skills they've been learning to good use, building a grocery-store-themed playhouse to be raffled off as a part of the Casas for CASA fundraiser.

United Supermarkets provided the Construction department with $5,000 to purchase the supplies for the playhouse, and the Construction students got to work to build the playhouse. The students decided to create a grocery-store-themed playhouse, in honor of United Supermarkets.

Community members had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win the playhouse. The funds raised from the raffle ticket sales go directly to CASA of the South Plains to help recruit and train volunteers to serve as Advocates for youth in foster care.

With this opportunity, Frenship students were able to learn while making an impact.
