Frenship High School

Cross Country Dominates at District

The Frenship Tigers Cross Country team had a great showing at the District 2 6A meet. The Tigers teams all came in first or second place. Varsity Boys won, coming in first place and the Varsity Girls came in second. The JV Boys team came in second place and the JV Girls won first place. 
 
All of the teams had multiple individuals place in the top five of their division. 

Varsity Girls

Junior Amaya Mendoza won first place

Freshman Zyla Deshone came in third place

Varsity Boys

Junior Blake Morrison came in third place. 

Senior Gavin Morrison came in fifth place. 

JV Girls

Junior Genesis Lopez won first place. 

Freshman Jordan Hymel came in second place. 

Junior Aubrianna Burfield came in fourth place. 

JV Boys

Sophomore Adrian Grady came in third place. 

Junior Taylor McCleery came in fifth place. 

 
 
The varsity teams will have 20 runners advancing to regionals on October 24 in Lubbock at Mae Simmons Park.
