Frenship Football Defeats Midland High

 The Tigers took down the Bulldogs, winning a close game 42-38. The Bulldogs got off to a quick start, with a sack and forced fumble that led to a touchdown. However, the Tigers offense was able to rally, and Tate Beeles had a school-record 17 receptions for 245 yards and two touchdowns.

The Tigers were down by 10 early in the fourth quarter but managed to put up 14 unanswered points to win the game. The Bulldogs fumbled at the Tigers 17-yard-line and Frenship was able to capitalize on it with a touchdown from Hudson Hutcheson to Landon Hutcheson with 4:19 left in the game. The Frenship defense was able to hold strong to keep the lead through the end of the game.

With this win, the Tigers move to 6-1 on the season and 2-0 in district play. The Tigers will take on Odessa Permian at Peoples Bank Stadium at 7:00 p.m. on October 21.
