Both Basketball Teams Continue District Winning Streaks

The Tigers kept their district winning streak alive, with both the boys and girls teams winning over Odessa Permian and Midland High School. 
 
On January 20, the Tigers competed against Odessa Permian. The girls ran away with the game, winning 65-23. The boys also won their game 81-74. During the game, sophomore, Patton Pinkins reached 1,000 career points as a Tiger.
 
On January 25, the Frenship Tigers took on Midland High School. The girls were up first, and they won their match-up in a dominant fashion, with a final score of 59-24. The boys followed, winning their game against the Bulldogs with a huge 74-62 victory. During the boys' game, Daniel Gedeon set a school record with 29 charges. With the wins, both teams have secured their spots in the playoffs. 
 
The Tigers play next at San Angelo Central on January 27.
