Three Frenship HOSA Students Head to Internationals

Brenna Lankford, Kristian Bergeron, and Reagan Hanks all placed in the top three at the state HOSA competition for their categories. These Frenship High School students will compete over the summer at the HOSA International Competition.

“We are incredibly proud of the hard work these students put into preparing for competition this year,” said Melissa Rosa, HOSA Advisor. “They are dedicated to becoming excellent health care professionals and used their skills and knowledge to advance through intense competition at the State level to qualify for Internationals.”

Kristian Bergeron and Reagan Hanks placed 3rd in First Aid/CPR. Brenna Lankford placed 2nd in Pharmacology.

With over 30,000 members, Texas HOSA is the largest State HOSA organization in the world. Their placement at state is truly phenomenal!!

While this is not the first time Frenship has had international competitors, Bergeron competed last year as a junior in Forensic Medicine and has now qualified for a second time in a new category. This is the first time Frenship have had a student go 2 years in a row, where she had to learn a new topic and skills.  ree
