The Tigers came out in full force under the lights Friday night. Ten Tigers came to the plate in the first inning, tacking on six runs with six hits.
Freshman Brooklyn Esqueda and senior Jillian Franco both sent balls out of the park to help solidify the 15-1 district win.
Senior, Brielee Ashcraft dominated the Lady Bobcats in the circle, recording seven strikeouts, allowing only one run. Alexis Clark came in the 5th inning to close out the night, striking out two of her three batters.
The Tigers improved to 3-2 in district and a 16-11 overall season record. The team starts the second half of district on Thursday, April 6 against the Midland Legacy Rebels.
