Frenship High School Culinary Students Cook Up a 3-Course Meal

The Frenship High School Culinary Program recently wrapped up the year with their big final projects. Students in the culinary one class combined their skills to create a 3-course meal for four of Caesar salad, fettuccine alfredo, and a Dole Whip dessert in one hour.

The Culinary Arts Program at Frenship High School gives students the opportunity to learn more about nutrition and wellness, how to create new dishes, and the importance of food preparation.

Culinary Arts Teacher, Ashley Saed, says the students have worked hard this year to step outside their comfort zone in learning new dishes and how to present their meals.

“The students have also been learning dining etiquette and had to set their tables before presenting their dishes,” said Saed.

Students wrapped up their final projects by joining the advanced culinary class in learning how to make hibachi.

“To celebrate everyone doing such a great job on their final project we finished the year with a trip to the advanced culinary lab where everyone learned to make hibachi,” said Saed.
