This is the first time in over 8 years that the Tigers have won over AHS so it was an exciting win for the entire team.
In doubles action, there were many exciting close matches, with the Tigers winning 3 of the 7 matches. The Tigers would rally in singles after being down 3-4 in doubles. The team really stepped up in singles play, winning 9 of the 12 singles matches.
This was a good win to start the year 1-0 over a good competitive team and to see every player go out and compete for each other regardless of the score of the individual matches was good to see. Our team believes in each other and they are proud to represent the blue and gold of Frenship high school.
Up next, the Tigers will travel to the DFW area this upcoming week and compete August 7th and 8th in Round Robin match-ups. The Tigers will face: Colleyville, Timbercreek, Trinity and Fossil Ridge.
