During the first matchups against Colleyville Heritage, there were many close matches in Boys Doubles and Mixed, but the Tigers ultimately came up short. The Girls Doubles saw more success, sweeping all three matches. Frenship also came in 2nd in the Mixed match against the Colleyville.

“It was a great win to stat the tournament and set the tone for the rest of the matches,” said Assistant Tennis Coach Shelby May. “ It was a good win for all our Tigers.”

Up next the Tigers travelled to Timber Creek. The players battled hard in Doubles and got off to a strong start, winning five of the seven matches. The Tiger continued their momentum into Singles play, winning 13-6.

On day two of the tournament, the Tigers faced Trinity and Fossil Ridge, winning both matches 17-2 and 10-0, two great wins to round out a successful tournament for the team.
