Hot Conditions Don’t Slow Down a Strong Performance for Cross Country

Although September 23 was named as the first day of Fall, the temperature outside didn’t quite reflect that with temperatures peaking into the upper 90’s; but that didn’t stop the Frenship Tigers’ momentum.

“Overall it was a good meet because it allowed us an opportunity to run Mae Simmons before regionals. It was a very hot day and our kids did a great job dealing with the conditions and gave all they had,” said Head Cross Country Coach Jeff Bigham. “We are looking good going into District but we will have to get better over the next few weeks and run our best to come out on top.”
