After the nail-biting game against Midland Legacy, it was evident that the Tigers came in ready to dominate and the Rebels walked away with a miracle of a victory. The final score of the game was 63-56.
Although the Tigers lost, they did rack up a total of 627 total yards, compared to 552 yards for the Rebels. Hudson Hutcheson, Tiger quarterback, threw a total of 539 yards and scored 5 touchdowns while running for 3 more scores. Receivers Layton Stone had 193 yards and 3 touchdowns, Chase Campbell secured 144 yards with 2 touchdowns, and Brooks Roberson had 105 yards.
The Tigers currently have a record of 5-1, and 0-1 for District 2 6-A. The team is hoping to bounce back and keep a steady tempo as the District season continues.
