The Varsity Blue Girls Golf team shot a 678, placing them in 2nd place at the Seminole Invitational. The Varsity Gold Girls Golf team shot a 694, coming in 4th place. Individually, Melanie Jones led the Varsity Blue with 2 scores of 84 (168). Marin Hallam led the Gold team with scores of 85 and 82. 

Up next on the schedule is the Odessa Invitational on November 11-12. Head Girls Golf Coach, Roger Whipkey is impressed with the talent on the team and is anticipating a chance to win at the District and Regional tournament.  

“I was very pleased with the performance of the Blue and Gold teams at Seminole. We have a lot of good young golfers who are getting better every tournament,” said Coach Whipkey. “Our goal this year is to advance 2 teams out of District and into the Regional Tournament. Our next tournament will be at our District Tournament site at Odessa Country Club so it will be a good chance to study and familiarize ourselves with the golf course.”
