Turkeys aren’t the only thing heating up this November. The Boys Golf team brought the heat at the final invitational of the season. The Gold Golf team competed in the Gobbler Classic Invitational on Thursday, November 16, in Odessa at the Ratliff Ranch Golf Links. Several athletes had impressive scores bringing the team to a sweet victory.  

The Tigers fired a 312 total score winning over Midland Legacy at 328 and Compass at 329. Pace Parker shot a personal best of 75 which tied a player from Legacy and won as a 1st place medalist on a scorecard playoff.

Jackson Bonnett and Camden Reese both shot 78, followed by Jetson Hobbs at 80 and Zach Ware with a 73.  

The Tigers wrapped up their fall season and are looking forward to keeping the fire burning in the spring season.  

“We are looking forward to a little break before kicking off the Spring tournament season,” said Head Golf Coach Andy Correll.
