Success for Frenship Softball at 1st Pitch Tournament

During the tournament opener against Monahans, the Tigers came out swinging, securing a commanding 6-1 victory over the Loboes. Standout performances from Alex Rangel and Kelvie Roberts, who delivered powerful home runs, contributed to the team's success. Pitcher Kynlee Bowlin racked up eight strikeouts, further solidifying the Tigers' win.

The Tigers faced a tough game against Randall, which ended in a grueling seven-inning battle against the Raiders. Lexi Clark's exceptional pitching, racking up an impressive fourteen strikeouts while allowing only one hit, paved the way for a hard-fought 1-0 victory. Ava Ramirez's defensive play, along with her exceptional offense, secured the narrow win without a single error.

Continuing their winning streak, the team overwhelmed the West Plains Wolves with an impressive 10-0 victory. Bowlin's shutout pitching performance, complemented by Ava Ramirez and Kelvie Roberts' explosive home runs, brought the team to victory once again. With Ava Garcia and Brooklyn Esqueda swinging the bat, they helped to further solidify the win.

The team had a small setback in the fourth game against Monterey, where the Tigers fell short with a final score of 3-6. With a standout performance from Jada Reyna, the team fought hard until the very end.

Despite a loss against the Plainsmen, the Tigers clinched a final tournament win against Amarillo High, securing an 8-2 victory over the Sandies. Bowlin's dominant pitching performance racked up ten strikeouts and only gave away three hits. Roberts' three-for-three at bat and Garcia's two-run homer sealed the win, capping off an exceptional tournament performance.
