Frenship Unified Track Places Third at State

The Frenship Unified Track Team is one of Frenship’s most exceptional athletic teams. This past week, the Tigers traveled to the State Unified Track Meet for the third consecutive year. After countless hours of practice, the Tigers were able to showcase their talents against the fiercest competition from across Texas.

Frenship placed 3rd at the State Competition earning the bronze medal. Throughout the 2024 Unified season, the Tigers have seen several victorious moments, including: placing first in local meets, placing first in Area, and placing second at Regionals. The team is not only celebrating 3rd place but also celebrating several broken records and multiple new personal best records.

Frenship Unified Coach Kayci Smith feels incredibly proud of the Frenship Unified Team. She encourages everyone to attend a Unified meet in the future.

“Coach Tomlinson, Coach Rush, and I are so very proud of our Team and how well they performed all season,” said Coach Smith. “If you have never been able to attend a Unified Meet, I encourage you to do so.  Just watch the video of Mac Ebert winning his heat. This kid worked so hard to be here, and everyone wanted that first place for him!”
