Ryan Miller is joining the Frenship Family as the new Softball Coach at Frenship High School. This will be his 15th year as a coach and in education. Coach Miller has experience in coaching softball, baseball, football, basketball, cross country, and volleyball. He has spent time coaching and teaching at Borger, Muleshoe, Ralls, and most recently Levelland.
Coach Miller is excited to jump up to 6A to lead the Frenship Softball team.
"I am very excited to take over the softball program at Frenship," said Coach Miller. "Coach Dickenson did an amazing job for the amount of time that he was here. I'm really looking forward to working with the students."
Coach Miller attended West Texas A&M University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Education and Sports & Exercise Science. He is currently wrapping up his Masters Degree at Lamar University in Educational Leadership.
He is excited for the opportunity to lead the team and build up the community of athletes.
“We are always going to work hard and compete hard. It’s not a ‘me thing’, it's a team effort, and we are going to work together to adjust and build up the team,” said Coach Miller.
Coach Miller is married to his wife, Crystal of 14 years, who is a teacher in Levelland. They have two kids, a daughter and a son.
