Frenship Memorial High School Names Lead Agricultural Sciences Teacher and FFA Advisor

Frenship ISD is proud to announce Ryan Pieniazek as the Lead Agricultural Science Teacher and FFA Advisor for the new Frenship Memorial High School. With nearly three decades of experience in agricultural education, Pieniazek brings a deep passion for student success, agricultural leadership, and community service to this new role.

Pieniazek has spent the past three years teaching at Frenship High School, where he quickly became a valued member of the district's Agricultural Science Department. Before joining Frenship ISD, he dedicated 23 years to Krum High School and began his career as an Agricultural Extension Agent in Gillespie County.

“I want to express my gratitude for the wonderful experiences I've had during my time at Frenship,” said Pieniazek. “My favorite aspect of being part of the Frenship Family is the tremendous support provided by the administration and community to their teachers. Since joining, I have felt welcomed with open arms and truly supported in all my endeavors.”

As he steps into his new position at Frenship Memorial, Pieniazek is excited about the opportunity to build a strong agricultural program from the ground up. As a proud FFA alumni and parent of three children who have all participated in agricultural science and FFA, he is committed to creating meaningful experiences for students.

“My belief in the positive impact of this program on our students is unwavering,” said Pieniazek. “As I step into my new role at Memorial High School, I am filled with excitement about the opportunity to build a program from the ground up. I look forward to collaborating with everyone and contributing to our students.”

Pieniazek credits much of his success to his ag science teachers in high school. He was deeply impacted by their mentorship and aims to do the same thing for his own students.

During his FFA journey in high school he had several notable accomplishments such as winning State Poultry and State Meats Evaluation Career Development Events, as well as being the high individual at the National Meats Evaluation CDE. His dedication to both academic excellence and agricultural leadership earned him a Texas FFA Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo scholarship, which helped pave the way to earning both his bachelors and masters degrees in agricultural education from Texas A&M University.

Ryan and his wife, who serves as the Coordinator for the Lubbock ISD AgriStem Complex, have been married for 26 years and are strong advocates for agricultural education. Their family is fully invested in the mission and values of FFA, and Frenship ISD is thrilled to have Pieniazek leading the Agricultural Science and FFA program at Memorial.

Welcome to Memorial High School, Ryan Pieniazek! We look forward to the positive impact you will continue to make.
