Frenship High School Names Head Boys Track Coach

Noel Ramos is no stranger to Frenship; he’s a proud Frenship alum with more than two decades of experience in education and coaching, the majority of which has been spent serving students in the district he once called home.

“I am a Frenship alumni,” said Ramos. “With the guidance of my high school football coaches, I decided I wanted to become a coach.”

Over the course of his career, Ramos has taken on multiple leadership roles throughout Frenship ISD. He began at Terra Vista Middle School when it first opened, serving as an assistant coach and later as the Campus Boys Coordinator. He also helped open the Frenship Ninth Grade Center in 2016 before joining the staff at Frenship High School in 2020.

“I have been at Frenship for 20 years and spent one year at Roosevelt as the Defensive Coordinator before returning back to Frenship,” said Ramos. “I have been at the High School since 2020 after returning from my one-year hiatus at Roosevelt.”

Ramos says the most rewarding part of his job is watching students grow into strong, successful individuals, both on and off the field.

“I am excited about watching the kids grow up into young men and women,” he said. “It’s exciting to see them excel not only on the playing field but in the classroom and in life. So that's what gets me excited year in and year out.”

For Ramos, the Frenship Family means more than just a workplace; it’s where lifelong connections are made.

“My favorite part about being a part of the Frenship Family is the friendships that are formed,” said Ramos. “The welcoming and tight-knit community just makes me feel welcomed no matter where I go.”

Outside of work, Ramos enjoys sports and golfing in his free time. He and his wife, Olivia, who works at Central Office, have two daughters, both Frenship alumni, who will now be starting their own teaching careers at Frenship Memorial High School.

Frenship ISD is proud to have Noel Ramos leading the Boys Track program at Frenship High School and looks forward to the continued impact he will have on students and the entire Frenship community.
