The Frenship High School speech and debate team competed at the UIL Regional Congress on Thursday, November 1, and three students earned their way to the state competition.
Students representing FHS at UIL State Congress in January includes Will Stevens, Noah McDonald, and Xavier Hurtado. Will Stevens was also awarded Top Presiding Officer.
The speech and debate team also competed on Saturday, November 3 at San Angelo Central High School. Four students brought home trophies for top finishes:
Alex Lopez: 2nd place in Dramatic Interpretation, 5th place in Duet Acting, 6th place in Duo Interpretation
Noah McDonald: 4th place in Original Oratory
Will Stevens: 4th place in Congress
Kelsi Smith: 5th place in Duet Acting, 6th place in Duo Interpretation
