Last week the Tigers beat the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates in a gritty face-off, 14-13. Now, they are ready to shift their focus for the first road game at Amarillo High on Friday.

As a school district, Frenship ISD prides itself on ensuring that learners come first. Through the Homebound Services program, every student at Frenship is given the opportunity to reach their potential.

Students at Terra Vista Middle School are doing great things and the administration and teachers are taking notice.

The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Board met on September 15 , the first of several meetings the board will have this school year. Frenship Superintendent, Dr. Michelle McCord kicked off the meeting by welcoming back returning high school members and introducing the new Freshmen.

Forty-eight Frenship runners competed last weekend at the Lubbock Christian University Chap Invitational Cross Country meet last weekend. Both the girls and boys Varsity teams won second overall, and both junior varsity teams won first.

Last Friday night, the Tigers took on Midland Legacy at the Tiger Pit, and after a long, exciting battle for the win, came up a little short.

Last week, the Tigers went up against Odessa Permian and Odessa High, claiming victories over both teams.

Last weekend, Frenship FFA competed at the Permian Basin Fair in Odessa. Four Senior members received over $6,500 in scholarships, along with many other members winning ribbons and prize money.

Last week, the Frenship Foundation for Leadership awarded 38 grants across 13 campuses, totaling nearly $80,000 for Frenship educators during the annual Prize Patrol event.
