Last week the Tigers (13-4, 4-0) won on the road in Odessa in a dominating performance ending the game 75-46. On Tuesday, they kept the momentum going when they rolled past Midland High at home, 71-52.

Frenship is honored by the service and dedication of our seven school board members. This group acts as the school district's policy-making board and is the official representative of the people for all public education in Frenship ISD.

FHS Ninth Grade Center student, Cade Franklin, started a shoe drive called Soles for Souls when he was a third grader at North Ridge Elementary. Seven years later he is continuing the drive to collect shoes for people in need.

Coach Trent Hilliard reached his 400th career win when his team defeated Monterey on December 29.

The Frenship varsity boys’ soccer team played Lubbock-Cooper on January 2 and finished the game with a 1-1 draw. The varsity girls’ soccer team played Canyon Randall and took home the win.

Frenship Tiger Boys Basketball (11-4, 2-0) took home two district wins over the winter break. This week they fell in a non-district match up against Midland Christian but are looking for their third district win against Odessa High on Friday.

Twenty FHS Varsity Football players were awarded District 2 6A All-District Team honors for the 2020 football season.

Eighty-one students from the FHS band competed in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-Region band competition through audio submissions last month. Sixty-seven students placed and forty-six will move on to the next round of Area auditions.

Matthew McCumber graduated from Frenship High School in the spring of 2016. After graduating he went on to attend Texas Tech University, where he is a part of the Tech Teach program for future educators.
