Over Spring Break the Frenship Tiger Baseball team played in the First Bank Classic Tournament where they started off District 2-6A play. They also played a tough Midland Lee team in a series at home. This week they started a series with Abilene High and started it off with big win on the road.

The Frenship Culinary BBQ Team, the Pit Bosses, competed in the Regional BBQ Competition in Lamesa before Spring Break. The team placed in five BBQ categories.

Earlier this week Frenship hosted a Wrestling Tri Meet at the Tiger Pit on Senior Night for the first time ever. The competitors were Frenship, Estacado, and Amarillo High.

The Tigers played in several district matchups over Spring Break and are now preparing to take on undefeated district foe, Odessa High.

On March 13, four FHS male powerlifters represented Frenship in the Division 1 Region 1 Powerlifting Meet at Coronado Middle School in Plainview.

Nine FHS students placed in the Regional Academic Decathlon competition and advanced to the State competition in late February. This is the third year in a row that the Academic Decathlon team has advanced to the state competition.

Frenship ISD is proud to announce that six Frenship High School and FHS Ninth Grade Center choirs won multiple awards at their recent UIL contests.

The FHS DECA team competed in the Texas DECA Virtual State Competition back in February. Fourteen teams competed in the Stock Market Challenge and 39 students competed individually in various events.

Frenship Boys and Girls track teams both competed in the West Texas Relays Track Meet in Odessa last weekend. The boys finished second overall and the girls dominated with an overall meet first place finish.
