Monday, October 8 is a scheduled Professional Development day for Frenship ISD teachers and staff and a student holiday for all students. Classes will resume at all campuses on Tuesday, October 9.

Congratulations to the 43 students from Frenship High School and the FHS Ninth Grade Center who competed at Texas Music Educators Association All-Region Auditions on Saturday, September 29.

The Tiger volleyball team bounced back from their first District 2-6A loss Tuesday at Midland Lee by downing Tascosa Friday in an impressive three games 25-18, 25-22, 25-16.

Congratulations to the auxiliary groups of the Frenship High School Band for winning their twentieth consecutive Overall Grand Champion award at the West Texas Auxiliary Championships held Saturday, September 29 in Lubbock.

FHS scored on each of their first five possessions and the Tiger defense shut down the visiting Randall offense to build a 31-0 first half advantage that led to a 34-27 victory over the Raiders Friday night at Peoples Bank Stadium.

Frenship ISD places emphasis on college and career readiness in the 2016 Strategic Plan by stating “all learners will be prepared for the college or career pathway of their choice.”

The FHS Media classes are now producing a television show about Frenship ISD for The CW. The series gives an inside look at activities, classes, community members, and more.

The Tiger volleyball carried their winning ways into their district opener and made quick work of Odessa High 25-9, 25-15, 25-14 Friday at the Tiger Pit.

Frenship put in their most complete game of the early season with major contributions from both the offense and defense as well as the special teams in a 30-14 victory over El Paso Andress.
