The Frenship High School Choir program invites the community to see their musical production of Pirates of Penzance scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, May 11-12 at the FHS Performing Arts Center. Both shows begin at 7:00 p.m.

The Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains honored FISD Superintendent Dr. Michelle McCord as one of four Lubbock area Women of Distinction honorees during the organization’s annual banquet.

Pirates of Penzance will run from May 11 to May 12 and show at 7:00pm both nights. Adult tickets are $15 and Students $10.

Students, staff, parents and alumni all welcome.

Last Saturday a dream came true for FHS student Ashley Rodriguez when she was named feature twirler for Angelo State University.

Twenty-seven Frenship High School students traveled to Garland for the Texas State Junior Classical League Convention April 13-14, and 16 qualified to compete at the National JCL Convention at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in July.

Congratulations to Frenship High School students Joshua Kennon and Riki Sampson who both qualified for the Academic UIL state contest after tremendous performances at the regional meet last week in Arlington.
