The FISD Board of Trustees unanimously accepted the recommendation of Roy Bassett, a 32-year law enforcement veteran with the Lubbock Police Department, as the district’s new chief of police.

Last year, a graduating Frenship senior created a ‘Caring Closet’ at Frenship High School to help students in need with hygiene products, snacks and more.

Students prepared for weeks in order to perfect the costumes, staging, set, sound, lights, and performances.
