Congratulations to the Frenship High School Tiger Band on winning a 26th consecutive First Division Award from all judges at the Region 16 Marching Contest Saturday at Lowrey Field in Lubbock.

Skyler Newsome’s touchdown run with less than a minute to play pushed Frenship’s contest with Midland into overtime on Friday night, but unfortunately the Bulldogs would score the game-winner in extra time to win 34-28.

The Frenship ISD Board of Trustees recognized five Frenship High School students who were named Commended Students in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.

FHS seniors Kathleen Jurecka and Kaden Eleuterius were accepted to participate in the X-Fab SEMI High Tech U program last week at X-Fab Texas and Texas Tech University.

Seniors participated in FHS’s second annual College and Career Readiness Seminar.
