During the month of February, designated as Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, Frenship ISD is excited to recognize the highly successful CTE program that is shaping Frenship students’ futures.

On Saturday, Frenship JV and Varsity pom competed at the American Dance and Drill hosted at Lubbock High School, taking home 25 awards and accolades.

All 20 Frenship Business Professionals of America teams advance to the State Leadership Conference.

On February 2, eight Frenship High School student-athletes signed their national letters of intent to continue playing sports at the collegiate level.

Frenship powerlifting both hosted and competed in the Tiger Invitational meet, which featured over 200 athletes. The boys team finished in second place overall and the girls team came in seventh.

The Tiger girls wrestling team came in first overall at the Palo Duro Lady Dons Pool Tournament.

Devon Walker, a Frenship FFA senior, was awarded the Fighting Heart Award at the Lubbock County Stock Show where donors raised $15,000 for him.

Over the weekend, students from across the area traveled to Frenship High School for the annual AirBattles Competition.

The Frenship boys and girls basketball teams both defeated Midland High School and Odessa Permian to remain undefeated in District.

Frenship students across the middle schools and high school took home over 80 awards from the West Texas Regional Scholastic Art Competition.
