With the start of the new school year, Frenship ISD welcomes 21 first year teachers into the Frenship Family. In order to prepare these new teachers for the classroom, Frenship hosted a First Year Teacher Academy.

The Frenship Tennis team competed in a tournament in Keller, TX on August 11 and 12.

On Monday, August 15, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a districtwide pay increase for Frenship ISD staff for the 2022-2023 school year. Salary increases vary based on years of experience and position, with an overall average increase of 4% for staff members.

Frenship Volleyball Took On Abilene Wylie, Canyon Randall, Amarillo High, and competed in the MISD Methodist Mansfield Medical Center Invitational to start off their 2022 Season.

On June 30, 2022, the USDA federal waivers that made it possible for Frenship ISD to serve free breakfast and lunch to students during the pandemic have expired. As a result, Frenship must go back to charging for school meals and offering the free and reduced-priced meals.

The Frenship High School AP Art class went out to Bennett Elementary to paint motion paths for the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students.

After defeating Boswell to win the Class 6A Area championship title, the Tigers are headed back to Wichita Falls this weekend to take on the Southlake Carroll Dragons.

Last week, three final student athletes signed with their perspective collegiate sports programs. This brings our total to 32 students for 2021-2022.
