The National Restaurant Association created the Prostart curriculum and competition program with the idea of creating a fun, competitive environment for students all over the country to showcase their knowledge and skills to culinary professionals from all over the world. Students are able to compete in a multitude of events ranging from a chopped culinary competition, to individual cooking competitions, and management/business events.
Here at Frenship High School, our culinary arts department has formed a team to take to the regional competition in Waco, Texas every year. Student must be currently enrolled in a culinary arts course at the high school.
