Hi! 

Amy Thomas here, I am starting my 5th year as an FHS Tiger! However, this is my 22nd year in education. I am very excited to be back for another school year! 

 

I will teaching Commercial Photo I, Commercial Photo II, Practicum Photo, and Digital Media as well as a few sections of Art Appreciation. I am very excited to add Digital Media to my class schedule this year! Both art and photography are passions of mine, and I love having the opportunity to share those passions with my students.

 

I am a wife of 28 years; I have two amazing kiddos. My oldest daughter lives in Florida, her and her husband both serve in the US Army. They have two beautiful little red headed boys. My son lives here is Lubbock and is an officer with the Lubbock Police Department. 

 

Outside of my school life I am a photographer, and I am very active in my community! Staying busy keeps me young!
