WELCOME to the 2026-2027 school year! I am beyond excited to be teaching English II PreAP and Creative Writing for seniors here at Frenship HS, and I am even more excited to get to know each of you. This is my seventh year teaching overall and my fourth year with FHS. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in creative writing and have gone on to publish a poem here and there. I am currently in graduate school studying to become a Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapist. 

 

In addition to teaching, I am over our FHS Writing Club; I am an advisor for our HOPE Squad; I coach our UIL Ready Writing and Journalism teams; and I am the assistant coach for our Academic Decathlon.
