Hello! My name is Ms. Alyssa Krafsur, and I’m thrilled to be teaching Aquatic Science at Frenship High School. I earned my master’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas Tech University and have over six years of experience working in institutional laboratories across various scientific fields.
Before joining Frenship, I taught biology and microbiology at the college level, guiding pre-medical and pre-nursing students toward their career goals. If any student is curious about careers in science—whether in healthcare, research, or related fields—I’d be happy to share my knowledge and experiences.
In addition to teaching, I serve as the head of our STEM Club, where students can explore science, technology, engineering, and math through various competitions.
Feel free to reach out with any questions about Aquatic Science, STEM opportunities, or science careers—I’m always happy to help!
