I am honored to be at Frenship High School as the ESL instructor. I have been involved in education for over ten years. Previously, I served as an instructional aid for SPED at Upland Heights Elementary School. I graduated from Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
I chose education because my parents and grandmothers were the greatest educators I knew. Early on, they instilled in me the not only the importance of education, but a sincere love of learning. I firmly believe every child is capable of learning, but not all children learn in the same way. I hope to develop relationships with my students and their families so that I may learn how to best meet their needs and play a part of helping them achieve their goals and dreams.
My husband and I just celebrated over 30 years of marriage and are the proud parents of a 21-year-old son. My hobbies include reading and as frequent as possible trips to the beach. We also are a big football family, so the football season usually finds us rooting on the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs and Texas Tech.
I am blessed to have been a part of the Frenship Family for over 6 years. Thank you, Frenship Family for the opportunity to continue to serve you and your families.
